Oy, **Maus Magill** and **Lok** are right. I can’t believe I got that mangled while trying to make it less confusing. There, see? I said trying to keep the relations straight would be too complicated. They’re cousins of some sort. I refuse to think about it in any further depth than that unless it actually ends up being important somehow. And Peter obviously suffers from whatever affliction struck Captain Kirk lo these many years ago, which results in repeated and random loss of shirt. Hopefully, they’ll find a cure before the girdle years. ---

For all we know, her name could really be Uhura. ---

Once again, nicknames provide amusement and annoyance. I refer to “Dale” and confuse people, but there are complaints because of calling DL’s aunt “Uhura” instead of “Nana”. I just want to say “thank you, thank you, thank you” to the writers for finally slipping in the crucial bit of dialog that made last season’s finale make any sense at all. (Peter: I can’t fly, it’s taking everything I’ve got to keep from exploding.) Should’ve been there in the first place, before Nathan even took off, but I forgive it. I was also very happy to see how Peter’s 4 months were spent WITHOUT giving him an opportunity to tell Nathan he’s alive. For those two plothole plugs alone, this episode was worth it. (Yes, even with Yet Another Maya Kills Everyone Scene (YAMKES?)) ---

I can’t do anything.” which is a pretty clear indicator that Peter wasn’t able to fly because he was struggling to keep from exploding. ---

Am I the only one who thinks this episode should have started the season? Things would have been a lot better with flashes, bangs, sparks to kick it off – instead of weakly-written mystery theatre. Okay, so I am glad my theory that Kensei was still around and killing off everyone proved true – but are we really supposed to believe that DL survived Linderman’s bullet, only to be killed by a chump walking up to him in a bar and blasting away at him? Puh-leese. ---

It seems to me that DL would’ve phased, the bullet would’ve gone right through him, and hit another person instead. That probably didn’t happen, but it ought to have. ---

There’s no way his reaction time could have been such that he could phase in response to a shot fired at point-blank range. ---
