I was expecting Peter to leave Adam several thousand (million?) years in the past, but stuck in a coffin is pretty harsh, too. So Matt noticed a guy calmly waking away from the mass chaos. The only way that guy could walk away like that is if he has some kind of mind affecting power, so thast the dozens of cops there didn’t notice/see/care about him. ---

Giving Nathan his blood would only work if Peter could make the donated blood decide to be healing blood even after it left his body and entered his brother.[/comic geek] ---

Can Adam starve or suffocate? If not, he has all the time he needs to dig himself out. He can _chew_ through the coffin if need be. Overall, though… sucked. Peter has the same trouble as Superman - he has so _many_ powers that often the guy writing the scene forgets about ones that would solve a problem in about three seconds flat. Sure, Peter can walk through walls. He could also toss around an armored car, so the safe shouldn’t have been that big a deal. Conveniently, the inept guards were few in number and without backup, so once four or five were knocked out (since when does a sword hitting flesh sound like a baseball bat?), Peter and co. had lots of time to pose cool, monologue, sneer at each other, etc. Maja gets shot, audience says “about damn time!” then it’s all for nothing. Nathan’s press conference speech was the superhero equivalent of the pronoun game - using phrases ambiguous enough so nothing can be tied down. He shoulda just said “I’m Nathan Petrelli. Lookit me fly!” And Sylar goes all Popeye… and we’re back to square one. I blame the writer’s strike. ---

[/QUOTE] That, and Peter had to yank on the door while Noah got flown from New York to California to confront his family, Elle spotted Sylar and went to confront him, Nathan flew under his own power from New York to Texas, and Sylar took his group to Mohander’s lab. If he just walked through the door then the whole timing gets thrown off. 😛 ---

Whether that means his blood wouldn’t heal Nathan, who knows. People have survived more bullets than this without getting a magic transfusion. Although this could be a way to get Adam back into the picture. Nathan survives, Peter’s blood doesn’t work, Hiro or Peter retrieves Adam to harvest blood. Is anyone else expecting Granny Uhura to bring on a thunderstorm or something to save Niki from the burning warehouse? ---

So Claire’s blood heals eye-glasses too? Neat. Comic book thief turned arsonist/murderer? That WAS a slippery slope. Blondie must have been thinking, “Oh, la de da, what to do? Oh, I know, I’ll check the security cameras. That might be fun! What the…? Sylar!” Does this show remind anyone of the silly storytelling of the DC comics of the early sixties? Specifically “Lois Lane” and “Jimmy Olsen” comics where the most ludicrous developements where passed off as plot points and story resolutions? Yeah, yeah. Dont like? Don’t watch, ect. ect. ---

Trapped in coffin. What will happen? Pretty soon the carbon dioxide will go up in the air. You will be gasping for breath. Eventually the oxygen will run out and you will pass out and sleep until someone digs up the coffin or some natural process washes the ground away after civilization has fallen. ---

Nikki’s death was caused by the Mohinder virus. It cause her to not think of simply getting low to the ground (as taught in every school fire safety class since fire was first discovered) and crawling under the flaming two by four that was just kind of leaning against the wall.
