I predict Hiro becomes Kensei. Although the little preview thing made it seem like Kensei actually has some powers, so maybe that puts the kibosh on this one. Also, flying guy 2? Is this the first time anybody has the same powers as somebody else (minus eating their brain or absorbing it)? ---

That was great. I am happy that they have returned to the main characters but I thought theywere going to start off with a bunch of episodes about superpeople we hadn’t seen before and than add whoever was popular when the main story started up again later? I thought Peter had absorbed Jessica’s haunt-your-sibling-in-the-mirror-after-dying-power there for a minute, but I guess not. I suppose Claire’s new friend is the hooded killer. ---

Isn’t he too young for that? The story implied that he was part of some original group that Linderman and Hiro’s dad and Nathan & Peter’s mom were as well. ---

[/QUOTE] That is another series that will be stand alone episodes. It is supposed to be after the main series is over for the year I think. I supposedly none of those characters will be in the main one. OTOH, every time I hear about it, things seem to change. ---

Kinda slow; with all the characters in this show, why did they spend so much time with the snotty cheerleaders? I like the show; just wish they’d never started with the “evolution” stuff. It’s bad science, not that interesting dramatically, and it requires them to jump through hoops to avoid using the word “mutant”. They sure enjoy their cliches on this show: “Everything’s falling into place!” “Of all of them – I never imagined – that it would be you!” Unlike my girlfriend, I didn’t just go through a marathon of watching the Season 1 DVDs, so I can’t remember: do we have a clue who little Mollie is afraid of? My money is on Mr. Muggles. That dog _knows_ something . . . . ---

Why did Kensei look and talk so modern? “That would be (name of burning town).” Let’s hope he’s really from 2007 and has traveled back to the 1600’s. Is bearded guy really all scarred and burnt and produces the illusion of an unscarred visage to others through hypnotic suggestion? This was unclear. The set where mind-reading cop and GoggleEarth little girl are living looks like a re-dress of the set where India guy lived last season. Is that dog attached to cheerleader’s mother’s hand? How would she cut her meat? Maybe she’s a vegetarian. Is Sulu’s power that he can see into Jawa hoodies of extreme blackness and tell who is in there when the rest of us can’t? Could we have a cliche a little less obvious than a dozen drop-dead gorgeous cheerleaders who are all evil snots? (Who will undoubtedly get there comeuppance in due course.) How did Clark Kent get in there? What was with the “My Name is Earl” scene in the copy store, stuck right in the middle of an episode of “Heroes”? Am I the only one who liked this show last season, but found this episode annoying? ---

Also on my annoyance list; the color balance on all of the footage shot on the roof-top set was completely out of wack. Everything was WAY too blue. And it isn’t my television set, all the rest of the show looked pretty good, which only made these scenes look worse. It was probably too late to go back and re-shoot it all, but I understand that such things can be corrected, to some extent, by skilled technicians. And don’t tell me it was a creative choice, like everything in India being too yellow. I can believe everything in India is more yellow than the rest of the world, because I haven’t been to India. But I’ve been on rooftops, and it ain’t that blue up there. ---

In my experience the snotty stuck-up cheerleaders always outnumbered the nice ones by at least ten to one, and that’s being generous. ---

I think if I went back to colonial America I’d have trouble with all the “thees” and “thous”. And perhaps accused of being a witch, though I weigh more than a duck. ---
