What they enact primarily benefits the wealthiest Americans (who fund their campaigns) with an aim toward maintaining a nominally stable society in which the upperest crust can keep and expand their uppercrustiness and wealth. They are much subtler about it than the Republicans, but the net difference is vanishing. ---

Apparently, he held up a fake police officer’s badge at the debate. 1. How could anybody still vote for him? 2. Isn’t impersonating a police officer a crime? He’s been saying he’s a police officer, and now he’s presented a “badge” as evidence of this. ---

I haven’t followed it that much either, but from what I understand he’s told a bunch of lies: 1. Being an FBI agent. 2. Claimed to work with GA law enforcement. He has been given the title of “honorary deputy” but I’m pretty sure they don’t give you a badge for that for precisely the reason of unscrupulous people pretending to be a police officer. Assuming such a badge said “Honorary deputy” someone may see the deputy but not the honorary part if it is flashed up quickly. I’m given to understand he once claimed there was a mist you could walk through that would completely eliminate COVID. So. Yeah. He doesn’t seem to be completely in tune with reality or truth. ---
