I’d think that he was in a very grouchy mood, probably making snippy remarks to others for no good reason and otherwise taking it out on the world. ---

I’d take that to mean someone was being more short-tempered than usual. Easily irritated, perhaps prone to making snide and/or sarcastic remarks. I have those days. It can also be related to blood sugar issues for me, too. ---

I agree - more irritable than usual, acting somewhat jerkish. Everyone has their bad days, but taking it out on others is a crappy thing to do. Obviously, you aren’t an automaton and you don’t have to be all smiles and giggles all the time, but depending on how pissy said person is, behavior like that is a luxury that teenagers and younger kids have, not adults. ---

And you all agree with _me_. Of course, then he comes into this thread and says something DIFFERENT about what constitutes pissy, so the argument is less tame now! 😃 ---
