Hmm, I didn’t realize Brandon actually has a good voice. I thought he was one of the weaker ones. I guess I’ll accord him the dubious honor of being one of the better male contestants. ---

Phil’s performance started out so what-the-fuck I actually started laughing out loud. Something about the horrible vocal tone and the wide blue eyes and the LeAnn Rimes song just got me. It got a little better towards the end, but not much. ---

I lurve **Brandon**. I don’t care what he sings. But I love that song (“I Just Want To Celebrate”), so that helps. But what the crap is going on with **Phil** tonight? He sounds god-awful! And that hat is hideous. I’m having a tough time remaining focused tonight. I’m having more fun putting together my Fantasy Baseball draft order, and I only know about 15 baseball players total, and 8 of them I only know because they’re Yankees and I hate them on principle. ---

I think she’s been sober every night since the top 24 started. A lot of her comments have had some kind of relationship to reality. She’s still apt to slip into a duckies and rainbows analogy here and there but she’s really been pretty alert for the past few weeks. ---

Why do they think there was anything wrong with that song? It was fine. The judges need to stop whining just because somebody does a song that isn’t some kind of pap, bubblegum radio staple. ---
