I f’n HATE this! The only thing that put a damper on the beautiful run I did Sunday morning was having to actively watch out for dog poo. It’s not like the lake I was running around is occupied by wild dogs. The only time dogs are around that lake is when their owners walk them, so all of that dog poo was left behind by asshole, selfish owners. Fuckers. ---

I’ve been going home for lunch so I can watch my dog poop! And shit. ---

So, he ends up putting exactly where people least expect it. Yours is an interesting question though, being off in the woods though, where a bear does his thing. I’ve stepped in piles o’poop at least five times. One was so large and mushy, I nearly fell after I slipped. And there was no grass to wipe it off on. I scraped as much as I could off on the curb, but I’m sure some still made it into the house and onto my floors and carpets. The death penalty is too lenient for fuckers like this. If you want the pleasure of having a dog, take the responsibility of cleaning up after it. The world is not your litter box. ---

The mark of a good troll is knowing when to draw the line. You have to stay believable. Looks like Ivan screwed up and crossed that line today. Nobody here believes for a second that you come down on the side of people who leave dog shit lying around. Just give it up. ---

I find dog-shit to be no more offensive a sight than some drunkard vomiting on the sidewalk/pavement\*, ie. not at all. It’s going to rain at some point, and wash it away, so what’s the big fuss? The irresponsible dog owners around these parts have elevated leaving their dog’s shit lying around in public areas to a new level; they put it in a bag, now, and leave **the bag** lying there. :smack: While we’re bitching about dogs, I’ll just add my perennial complaint about dog owners in off-leash areas - off-leash doesn’t mean out of control. Your dog MUST still be controlled in an off-leash area, or it doesn’t get that privilege. When I’m walking on the multi-use path that goes from my house to my local grocery store through the off-leash area, your dog should not be bothering me and my groceries. ---
