Shouldn’t it be “squealing” instead of “squeeling?” Or is “sqeeling” Republican NewSpeak? Maybe it’s a diversionary tactic and I fell for it. It is cute that a war of words is fought with spelling errors, though. ---

Am I to be the only one to stand up and defend **Brutus** here? So be it. Every village needs its babbling incoherent idiot, and if we did not have **Brutus** , someone who actually has something worthwhile to say might have to fill the role. ---

It’s not like **Brutus** expends much mental effort deciding what side of an issue to be on (Republican good! Dem bad!). Why expect him to actually make an effort in his responses beyond recycled leet-speak allusions? ---

I have one of two reactions to any **Brutus** comment. 1. Laugh like a drain (even if I don’t agree with anything he says he can be an amusing bastard) 2. Supress the urge to hunt him down and hit him with something heavy. I have have never had a neutral feeling to anything you post **Brutus** but I kinda like hating you 🙂 ---

While **Brutus** ’s posts are certainly pitworthy, and he is definitely not contributing to the war on ignorance, I did laugh at the chicken picante post. It just seemed like self-parody. ---

I’m just wondering if there is anything about Brutus that hasn’t been said already pit-wise. I mean, it’s kinda tough to pit a guy who has been pitted so often. It’s true. His posts do tend to be more dickish than informative and sometimes he adds more fight than debate. Still, somehow I like the guy. It’s very strange 😕 ---

See, the problem with getting angry with **Brutus** is the same as getting angry at a mayfly. I mean, it’s a tiny little annoyance that may flit across your vision for a fraction of a second, and then it’s gone for a while. **Brutus** , with his incessant one-line knee-jerk semi-coherent posts, is a lot like that. I mean, while scrolling down in a thread, his comments take less than five seconds to read. I can’t remember the last time I saw a post of his longer than about 8 lines. Just take his comments in stride. Besides, I bet he’d make a great pet. ---

I’m about as far to the left as **Brutus** is undoubtedly to the right and I’m sure he probably won’t consider this a compliment, but… most times when I read a post of his it cracks me way the hell up. There’s something amusing about being obstreperous, wittily so, in the face of others that are disgruntled by your actions. Now, don’t get me wrong. I also love laughing at Robin Williams, one of my favorite comics. However, I would rather die than be married to the guy or room with him. So, reading along to **Brutus** ’ comments can be fun, as long as it isn’t your only source of nutrition. If you feed yourself on Great Debates, only season with him sparingly and with many a grain of salt. Although I could deal with you as either an appetizer or dessert. But all at once, I’d be stuffed.
