I tried to convince Wife that a menu item at her Home was mush. Not fried mush with syrup, as God intended, but mush. I checked it off on her menu anyway, shaking my head at her claims they’ll let her go home in a week, knowing that selection told everybody she’s there for Nursing Home Duration. ☹ This is shit she wouldn’t eat four months ago. All she’s had me sneak in for her are fresh mozzarella and cherry tomatoes for the protein and the potassium their food service doesn’t provide. I need to do better, like Italian beef sans bread. Gotta keep an eye on her sodium and carbs, but reminding her what Real Life can give her. Like BBC America for all the Star Trek (all breeds) she can stomach. FTR that’s all of it. ---
