Or any Navy types, really…
Someone gave me a story a long time ago when I was stationed down in Florida, but I’ve lost it and I’m wondering if anyone has a copy of it to send to me?
It was a tongue-in-cheek description of naval ranks. Ensigns are issued water pistols, wear Mae Wests, can leap over a crack in the sidewalk with a running start. LtJGs are allowed to put water in their water pistols…works its way up to captains, who whisper to god, on to admirals, who talk to god. Finishes up with the Chief, who smashes down buildings bare-handed and IS god.
Course, if no one knows what I’m talking about this thread’ll sing like a stone, eh?
