I’m not a cowboy, I’m a grazier. Retired the horse quite a while ago. We wear our hats flat, any other way is simply pretentious. I saw a magazine cartoon decades ago where a couple cowboys are herding pigs. One is complaining, "Yeah, yeah, I _know_ what the bottom lines is but it’s taken all of the romance out of it. ---

It’s time for some wokeful correction of OP’s microagression. If a male wrangler of cows is a cowboy, then a female wrangler of cows is a cowgirl. If you insist on calling them by adult terms, then they are cow-man and cow-woman. Wranglers of male cows would be bullboys and bullgirls or else bullmen and bullwomen. But calling male wranglers cowboys while the female wranglers get to be cow-women is a misandrist microaggression and must stop!
