Until this thread, I hadn’t realized what a loony-tunes **KGS** is. Wow. And boy, did **Der Trihs** ever mop up the floor with you in that GD thread. I went in expecting the usual “God exists / no, he doesn’t / yes he does, fuck you!” exchange that gets people so riled up about **DT** , but that was just sad. He should be Pitting you for being such a dumbass. ---

So, as a person who is no longer mentally ill, are you still on disability for being mentally ill? Or have you gone off the dole and gotten a job? I wouldn’t think that a person of such rigorous integrity as yourself would continue to sop up benefits for a mental illness that you no longer have. Please confirm. ---

Dude, you just had a [big old thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=490262) that started after you went on a ten day non-sleeping jag that resulted in hospitalization and a 72 hour “mental hold” and you’re maintaining you don’t have a mental illness? Not too surprising, really, my incredibly bipolar ex-husband used to insist the same thing, regardless of how many times he ended up in the psych ward doing the Thorazine shuffle while hallucinating after a manic phase. If it helps your ideation any, he has Asperger’s TOO, in addition to the bipolar disorder–there’s nothing stopping you from having more than one disorder at a time, you know. Believe it or not, you actually ARE as crazy as the proverbial loon–I just hope you accept this as fact before you do yourself an irrevocable injury.
