But since he’s our board’s pet lunatic fringe asshole, he’s allowed to stick around and personally insult religious people and conservatives, in GD of all places, to his heart’s content. Almost any thread about him in the Pit _should_ turn into a pile on, because there is no other poster who is to a greater degree, through a through, a jerk. He’s _earned_ the reputation he has here by his continual dedication to being the biggest asshole he can possibly be. Time and again. Generally, atheists and theists alike agree that he’s simply an asshole who should be ignored. In political threads he reveals himself to be an ignorant ideologue and a lunatic, a nutcase who’s on record as saying that he wants the entire world to become a nuclear armed camp with proliferation that would make the Cold War seem tame, with virtually all of the world’s nuclear weapons aimed at his own home (betraying a sense of self-loathing and a wish for annihilation that reveals that he’s simply _damaged_ as a human being.) He’s a two faced garden slug who opposes religion when it suits him (and when he can piss off and flame religious people) but turns around and supports theocracy while opposing democracy as long as it’ll piss the US off and have a few more nuclear weapons pointed at him, his family, his friends and his neighbors. It takes a special kind of jerk to pretend to be against religion simply so he can fight with people, and then turn right around and support a brutal theocracy and oppose the overwhelming democratic wishes of an entire foreign nation… because he hates his own home so much that he wants _nuclear weapons aimed at it._ He’s scum. However, all that was pointed out in the context of telling KGS that this Pitting was in error and he should quit while he’s far behind. If saying essentially that "Der is an asshole and he’s proud of that fact, but your thread makes you look like a lunatic and you need to stop " is a pile on, it’s the weakest pile on in the history of the Dope. Der has thoroughly earned his status as a ban-worthy asshole, through hard work and dedication. The fact that this thread hasn’t turned into a pile on is only because the OP is insane. That is not an unimportant dynamic. ---

**KGS** , I can’t even prove the non-existence of the loch ness monster, let alone an amorphous and poorly defined entity like a soul. If you say X exists it’s up to you to offer objective evidence for the existence of X, it’s not up to me to offer evidence for it’s non-existence. I’m not even sure what such evidence would look like. ---

It hasn’t been proven yet whether or not there are these tiny, curled up dimensions (as impressive as the math is), but even if there were, they would be integrated in this universe, and not some ethereal plane whereby beings exist in, only to interact with us to devour our 11 dimensional soul. And BTW, When DT said all the evidence points to spirits not exiting, what he meant is it’s non-falsifiable, which means, if they don’t exist then you can’t accrue evidence about it. The only way it could work is the other way around. The believer’s would have to bring on the evidence. Not just a test-tube of ghost farts either; but repeatable, verifiable, empirical evidence. Science is a bitch. Learn it or die. ---
