No they don’t Dubya. You’re in Poland now. Yep, the same Poland that ain’t exactly top of the list on any Grand Tour of Europe, political or otherwise. Poland: Where the people are glad to see _anyone_ who isn’t goose stepping in a medium length grey trench coat with an off-the-shoulder-flame thrower or, a terrible faux pas, here, those off-the-peg mossy green tunics so popular with the House of Uncle Joe. I like Poland - good strong girls, lots of vegetables –but have things gone so far that you need to visit an entire country so the images on tomorrows news – when you return home ‘Triumphantly’ - aren’t of Kyoto protestors in western Europe bidding you a fond farewell ? Ah yes ! The grateful Poles. Liberated from oppression, strong immigrant base, hopeful of financial assistance…Excellent choice. They give _such_ great media. Oh ! make sure the Embassy hands out all that supply of mini flags you had flown in. Dude, it’s going to take you all day to get the President’s name right. Isn’t it all getting a teeny weeny bit transparent or am I losing the plot in my objection to this man’s politics ??
