OK Frank. Really.

It may have been nice if my thread titled “Question about mapping 500 cities has disappeared.” In GQ, Had a response from a moderator, in stead of just a lock down.

If a moderator had added that “You responded to a thread posted by a sock and …….” Could have saved us a lot of grief. All I saw was a very reasonable thread disappearing, and questions about it getting locked down. Should I count on other posters to tell me it was ‘probably a sock’? Shouldn’t a moderator moderate?

Sad really. I was just trying to help them. The person that I was responding to was in no way acting like a jerk or trying to incite anything. They just needed some help.

Dude, it wasn’t my thread. I was just trying to help someone with a mapping question.
