I don’t think I’m reaching at all. In fact, the second moderator who admonished him noted that his comments were “borderline” racist. I just think they were over the line. Especially since the thread was originally opened in GQ. And just to be clear, the main reason I called him out is that I had defended him against charges of racism in the past. The fact is, he somehow felt he had to pepper his GQ OP with snide comments about Japanese, and then throw a gratuitous “Yellow Peril” out there when he was challenged by a moderator. And, yes, I’m aware of the thread about the “88”, and the explanation given. It could well be that it wasn’t meant to be the HH reference. That doesn’t change the fact that I’m seeing a racist attitude in his whaling thread. ---

After that, you and I argued against his position for page after page in that train wreck of a thread. The thread that **Rand Rover** is talking about was one specifically opened to challenge Huerta on the “88” in his username. That was an entirely different thread. I also think I defended Huerta against charges of racism in another thread, although I don’t recall the details. ---
