I know it’s futile to try and direct the discussion in a pit thread, but… Can we let that old issue go? We hashed it out thoroughly many years ago, and I don’t see that any new insights are going to be added. ---

As a minor note, Huerta may just have been plagiarizing (and misremembering) the title of Jerry Della Femina’s book on advertising: _From Those Wonderful Folks Who Gave You Pearl Harbor_. ---
