As someone who lived in Missouri for ~20 years I must say that when it comes to electing blinkered ideologues who can barely tie their own shoes, Missouri gives Kansas a pretty good run for their money. ---

After everything that happened at the Capitol last week, Hawley continued to enflame. He should resign or be expelled. I’m still undecided if he should share blame in the murder of the policeman… ---

Since Hawley’s attack on Arizona and Pennsylvania voters failed, don’t those states now get the opportunity to try to vote out Missouri’s senators? I’m pretty sure that the Founders established turn-based voting like this given the travel difficulties in getting all the combatants together in that era and this allowed participation by mail since we had a working postal service back then. ---

If Hawley was up for reelection in 2022 I could imagine him losing but memories are short and 2024 is a long way away. ---
