I suppose that I should point out that I was stating that about people who hate crusading fundamentalist Christians. Although I’m a theist, Free Speech and Seperation of Church & State is a different thing. Those should not be infringed, and it’s a fool who thinks otherwise.
Hmmm…let’s see…“Atheists aren’t patriotic Americans”…“There are no atheists who have served their country or faced danger bravely”…“Atheists have persecuted Christians and suppressed Christianity in America so much that children are confused when they hear the word ‘God’ spoken in public”.

I’m afraid I must ask: why so much anger? The people poking you in the eye with a sharp stick are bothering you because they think that if they don’t poke you, your blood won’t get aerated and you’ll die. They care about you, whether or not their beliefs are founded. In their minds, they’re trying to save you from death. So mellow out and let them poke you in the eye.
They sure have a funny way of showing how much they care. I treat Christains with respect as long as they treat me in a like manner. KP was not reaching out to atheists because she cares about us. She was simply preaching to the choir in a dishonest and hateful way.
