I watched the fucking video and it’s not the same fucking thing and what the FUCK DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH BILL CLINTON anyway? Who cares about Bill Clinton? My GOD he was president years ago. What does anything he did or allegedly do have to do with Trump getting butthurt over Streep pointing out that he mocked (AND HE DID, whether he mocked OTHERS in a similar fashion at other times) a disabled reporter? This is such a stupid thread. Oh my STARS, I regret it every time I slip in to the pit because of stupid shit like this. Republicans love to make cracks about liberals and safe spaces but you all are the most whiny pitiful babies with your terrified “omg they’re stealing our Christmas” and “but they’ll rape the girl babies in the toilets!” bullshit. OK, maybe I’m tired and not understanding this. My point was she was upset with Trump ridiculing a disabled reporter, but applauding a man who drugged and raped a 13 year old girl. I’m serious now, maybe I AM wrong. Why does it bother her so much about Trump acting badly, yet she stands and applauds a child rapist? ---

You are dishonestly trying to pretend that Streep’s approval of Polanski’s award in 2002 implies her approval of his crimes in 1977. However, no matter what Streep may think of Polanski as a filmmaker or as a person, it’s pretty obvious that here in 2017 the behavior of President-elect Trump is a far more current and important issue than the 40-year-old crimes of an elderly director. Let’s not overlook the far more flagrant hypocrisy of _Trump supporters_, of all people, complaining that **other** people aren’t taking sexual assault incidents seriously enough. :rolleyes: ---
