The other day (don’t remember which) I clicked on the Message Boards link and at the bottom of the list of forums, I saw one that said “Moderate”. I clicked on it and there only a couple of threads, one of which concerned a topic that I don’t think we’ll ever see here (and with good reason). Was there some sort of security failure? Am I on something? Enlighten me. ---

Someone at the HouDope Fest this past weekend mentioned seeing the same thing. I’d guess it’s a normally invisible-to-users forum that mods/admins use to communicate that might have accidentally got switched “on” during some maintenance. Things like that have happened before. ---

Hey, I saw it too! I thought it was a new forum for controversial topics. There were only three threads in there. When I went back to the main page it was gone. Invisible forum, cool! ---

If it was there when I was on the Boards, I wouldn’t have noticed it. I didn’t notice when they made IMHO (until my brother, Monster104, said “Did you see the new forum?”), and I didn’t notice Cafe Society (again, until my brother said “Did you see the new forum?”). And, given my past instances of stupidity-induced inattentiveness, I wouldn’t notice a forum called “Hot Naked Babes That Want To Sleep With SPOOFE” (HNBTWTSWS). ---

Speculation: Maybe it’s something that automatically detects certain keywords in a post, such as: ‘Illegal’ ‘Drugs’ ‘Moderator’ and collects the threads somewhere that’s easy to find so the mods can give them immediate attention? ---
