# Hey, my posts don't show...

I posted in GQ (Crossbolt made of ice?) and it apparently posted (I was thanked :)) but it didn’t show up on the main GQ page, still showing Tranqulis as the last poster.  
Thinking this was a small glitch, I test posted there - same thing happened. What gives?

Posting this once was really sufficient. I have deleted the double posting, how did that happen anyway?

Most times when you see an older version of a web page, that means that you’re seeing pages through a proxy server; it’s sending you cached pages.

When you see that, try hitting CTRL / Refresh. Usually that does the trick; it forces the system to bring you the most recent page.

Sorry if this posted twice. I got a ‘timed out’ message when I tried to post so I wasn’t aware it posted at all!  
I did use the CTRL/refresh trick - several times. It did not change the situation. That’s why I did a ‘test’ post there. IT, also, did not ‘bump’ up, nor show on main page either…even after refreshing it.
