Let me get this straight. Iām being pitted for _posting_? Well, since this is the first time Iāve ever been pitted, I suppose I ought to respond with something about āgoat felchingā but Iām not sure how that would apply here. The rant isnāt even long enough to take apart and attack point by point. Letās just say Iām perfectly happy with my life, and my posting here, however frequently, deosnāt get in the way a bit. Except threads like this, which are really a sad waste of time. I want those five minutes back now. š

Excuse me, **MachineHead** , but I have no problem whatsoever with **Q.E.D.**'s posts.
Yes, he posts a lot. This is not in any way a crime here. You may also want to consider that the majority of his many posts are simply links to informative information that actually pertains to the subject at hand.
Granted, we already have **Duck Duck Goose** for that sort of thing, but **Q.E.D.** actually throws in some useful commentary from time to time.
Heck, he helped me out once when he didnāt have any reason to bother. I think heās a useful and valuable poster.

**MachineHead** , what are you doing? Randomly pitting every single poster?
Iām technically part of the SDMB staff dating from our last days at AOL. I havenāt had any official duties since the message boards were moved here which is why Iām not listed as a Moderator. Iām also not privy to everything that goes on behind the scenes here but I wouldnāt be surprised if the staff has been discussing your potential banning.
Please, take a longer voluntery break from the SDMB before you are forced to take a permanent one.
