I realize the office is _BING!!!_ almost empty, but it’s not completelty empty. There _BING!!!_ are still other people working here in _BING!!!_ this tomb of an office building and every _BING!!!_ time your stupid chime sounds on your instant messanger _BING!!!_ it echos like a fucking _BING!!!_ _BING!!!_ cathedral bell. ---

If this was /b/ I’d frame op’s post in a demotivational with the caption: _**The Internet why walk ten feet to tell someone to shh when you could instead post on a server a thousand of miles away?**_ Edit: not that I disagree with OP. People with annoying sounds or music that don’t use headphones deserve pittings, and possibly small crotch biting dogs thinking there’s beef jerky in their underoos. ---

Wait til you work in an office with a phone system that rings to alert people to waiting messages - every half an hour. It is such a pain, particularly when working on a weekend. I used to take phone handsets off the hook just to get some peace. Si ---

When I came by, said woman was in the living room with three of their friends. They were all within 5 feet of one another but their conversation was taking place solely through instant messages. There was no sound whatsoever in the room aside from keyboard clicks, for a good few hours. It was creepy. ---
