Now sir, if you would be so kind to explain what my side is? I have not taken sides in your favorite conflict. I have pointed out a number of times that I do not believe that taking sides on this specific issue is constructive. My arguments against you over the last couple of dozen or so posts where we have exchanged words on the topic Israel, Islam, Arabs, EU and related issues can be summarized as follows:[ol]
Rectification of factual errors on your part
Non acceptance of your repeated use of biased sources such as Op Ed articles and political diatribe as ‘proof’ of a point
Outrage at your intolerance and hatful statements towards specifically Arabs and Europeans
Outrage at your generalizations and blanket statements regarding the same two ‘groupings’
Repeated requests that you come clear and clarify to me and the board what underlying opinion, hence what motive you have for your subtle, but vicious posts versus the same (which you have in as much as that you have admitted to being an anti-Muslim, but as of yet I am still waiting for your stand on us Europeans and the EU)
Understanding of your outrage on behalf of the attacks and suffering that people of your religious background have suffered and still do

I am sure that you followed the debate between me and DSeid in the ‘Arafat’s turning down a peace offer being a western myth’ thread started by Ethic. As you might note in that thread I do actually debate the issue at hand. DSeid points to a factual fallacy in my argument that started with a rather snide retort to you. I conceded DSeid’s point and we go on debating the issue from better grounds. Or follow the debate where I started an argument with sirjamesp regarding the EU in one thread and then toned down our rhetoric to a civilized debate in a new thread more suited. You’ll also find some examples of the opposite in my post count, were I have taken people to town on their bigotry and insulted, mocked and ridiculed them to make my point. Which is that I deplore racism, intolerance, hatred, ignorance and bigotry. As I clarified in your intolerance thread that went so far off the topic due to your intolerant statements re Islam; I see it as a personal duty to debate against and combat intolerance before it takes forms (such as terrorism) that I cannot tolerate. That is my point and nothing else.
Further I have no problem conceding or even officially repenting from a view if someone defeats my point. I hold it a point of honor to do so and I try to live by that humility as well as I can. You have *not * shown that I am in error and as others have pointed out we have collectively done the reverse, while you have refused to either answer or concede
I might be somewhat high tempered and overtly prone to ad hominem attacks even low and base insults here in the Pit, but I have no problem in retaining myself as long as the debate is carried on a factual, sensible and informed level. I am sorry to say, but I see little of those three qualities in most all of your posts.
You might tell me that I won’t change your mind on these topics by taunting, mocking and insulting you. That might very well be, but I and others once in a while manage to provoke you to discard your mask and show your ugly opinions of intolerance and hatred rather than hiding behind the construct of facts that you have adopted as truths. My point in point being your recent admittance to being a convinced anti-Muslim. On the way we might hopefully have managed to demonstrate your errors in fact and rhetoric to other impressionable souls that might stumble on the garbage you post and actually believe it the same way you seem to do.

Note that this quote is from CPJ News Alert. I presume that they are correct that the grenade was reported by Reuters, but opinionjournal.com failed to find the report of the grenade on Reuters’ web site.
Here is an even more blatant example of a Reuters story, which omits crucial information that would be favorable to Israel.

Sparc, that was a very poetic way of admitting that the above Reuters article is so clearly biased against Israel that no refutation is possible. 
Now just a minute here, december. The original accusation that you blamed Reuters for not reporting evaporated five days later in the release without indictment of the arrested photographer. So now you’re blaming Reuters for not reporting similar accusations about a different incident? Judging by the way your previous story fizzled, it’ll probably turn out that this “armed Arab infiltrator” was actually a kid with firecrackers (actually, probably not, but it’s clear that both sides make up accusations as it suits them, with little concern for truth).
I think that in such a snake pit of war zone propaganda, minimal reporting that sticks as closely as possible to the solidest possible core of undisputed facts is evidence not of anti-Israel bias but of plain journalistic common sense. And complaining about the use of the standard term “settlements” as an example of “clear bias”? Oh, please. :rolleyes:

The Palestinians do indeed make up accusations with little concern for the truth, such as the recent non-existant Jenin massacre. The Israelis do not.
OTOH you have just made up an accusation against Israel, which is false. You cannot support it. Please withdraw it.
