It’s annoying when people use charged words like ADMITS, with it’s connotations of conceding a point, or confessing guilt, when they really don’t apply. She did no such thing. She simply STATED what she would have done had he not said he was ignoring the warning. That’s all. No admission. No concession. No confession. Simply a statement of fact. ---

How effective are warnings that can be rescinded if the poster asks nicely to have them taken back? How even-handed is your moderation when you do so? If you’re the type of mod that finds herself rethinking decisions, wouldn’t it behoove you to set your phaser on “finger-wagging admonition, no warning issued” rather than “formal warning”? ---

I like twixter - quite a bit actually - but this latest spate of unnecessary warnings are embarrassing.
