Tranquilis, A voice of reason in an insane Gnome world. 😉 Yes, I know you can get a class 3 license I looked into it once or twice. It is very expensive and time consuming and you have to get it signed by a law enforcement official. Like that is all I need is to talk to more cops. I want them to be just like every other gun. You fill out one or two forms. They check to make sure you are not a felon and then you buy it. Take it out to the ocean get on a tall tower and start shooting every darn shark you see like Sheriff Brody. Hey, I appreciate Class III, and I’m glad it’s expensive. It means that full-auto owners had to _think_ about their purchase, and after going through so much crap (and expense) to get it, they’re going to take _damn good_ care not to lose their shiny new weapon. ---

If I need a fully automatic weapon, say to defend the airspace over my house that I rightfully own, I shouldn’t get hassled by the man. I can’t just march down an chat with the cops – duh! Their still pissy bout me taking that TV from the house of that gay fellow down the street. Why is it he can afford s-video infeed when a patriot like me is stuck watching a 13 inch zenith? When a guy needs a gun, he might need it rite that minute. He can’t wait around for the fuzz to check him out. It sais so right in the 2nd bill of rites. ---

I’ll bet 99% of the people responding to this thread have no idea what an assault weapon truly is. Nope, its not what the mainstream media has tried to convince you what it is. Having said that, I dont believe full automatic weapons should be generally available to the public. The system that is in place now, where one has to undergo a background investigation and pay a 200 dollar tax in order to get an automatic weapon, is prudent, in my opinion. ---
