I’m thinking I may take Friday off and make it a long weekend, to allow more time for camel-butchering and stuff. Anyone have a good recipe for _kumyss_? It’s a mildly alcoholic beverage originated by Central Asian nomads, made from fermennted mare’s milk. I’m thinking it’s the most appropriate alcoholic beverage to go with plov. I don’t know how long you need to ferment it, so I though I’d start now. Anyone have a mare they want to lend me? ---

I haven’t been there but it sounds good. As long as there’s malt vinegar to pour on my chips, I’m happy. That and the mare-swapping, flashing, and drunken snowball fights, it sounds like a totally incapacitating weekend. ---
