OK, this conversation is better carried out over ICQ than in MPSIMS. Not just because it is of personal nature, but because the spelling, grammar, and lack of capitalization is making me nuts.

Ok, I can’t help myself, I’m posting [a link](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=45294) to the original (and closed) Welcome Wagon thread just so the newbies can see what they’re being spared.
Here’s a hint if you’re going to read the thread: Read only my posts, since I quote anything relevant fromthe other posts. That’s saves time and trouble of reading things twice.

I can read TMI threads and laugh the whole time. I just perused the entire SeeThruArt/Apollo debacle and came away feeling only slightly dirty, but you **iampunha** made me squirm. That was the most repulsive thing I have ever seen on this board. 😃

I don’t usually get into these things, but I’ve got to say I _am_ glad the Board’s auto immune system kicks into gear the way it does.
Imagine if we had to slog through mounds of that stuff. The two perps are not really guilty of trolling - I think they are just unaware of the environment. If they get the idea, I’m perfectly happy to welcome them aboard.
