With apologies to Dr Nick from “The Simpsons” for stealing his bit. Long time lurker, but I saw a question on algorithms that motivated me to register. Why am I introducing myself? Am I that important? No, I’m really not, I’m just feeling social and now that I’ve registered I’m hoping to participate more. So what’s with the name? I’m a AI researcher / scientist and my friends are always accusing me on secretly building Skynet or at a minimum killer robots. So I will often include “commentary” from my AIs and surrounded it with a _beep_. I’m not by the way honest. Scientist’s honor! _beep_ he is _beep_ I’m looking forward to participating on this board, especially if there are questions related to computer science or artificial intelligence. ---

Frankly, no one _intends_ to develop killer robots or Skynet. The problem is when the computer wakes up on its own and decides to kill all the humans. ---
