Yay on \*\*VWife \*\* being home! How’s it going so far **VBob**? My favorite cartoon Disney movie is either Aladdin or The Lion King. My favorite cartoon non-Disney movie is Shrek. My favorite Disney movie is Pirates of the Caribbean. LOVE those movies…mmmmm…Johnny. I’m home now until Tuesday. I gotta get stuff done today for the craft fair. A few people were talking about make-up, I hate wearing make-up, but put some on when I leave the house. Not much, just base and powder to even out the skin tone. Off to shower and be productive! ---

Morning Mumpers! It’s 32 degrees Amurikin(0 degrees furrin). I’m thinking laundry today, and if it warms up, I’m taking Nelly the [Snorlax](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Totodile#Snorlax) to the dog park. Favorite Disney movie: _The Rescuers_(I’d live to have a jet powered Model T swamp boat) Favorite non Disney: _Chicken Run_, or _Who Framed Roger Rabbit?_ I have never had a makeover. **Taters** , glad MIL is doing OK. **FCM** , hope you feel better today. **Mama Tigs** , I need to go to the dentist too. I hate it because I am immune to pain relievers/anesthetics.(Is it safe?) ---

Good that **VWife** and **Taers** ’ MIL are home. Slept too long with more weird dreams. Time for caffeine, and putting together massive quantites of bread dough. This evening I should pick up the cookies and brownies stuff. Primarily shortening. I think I’m out. Also stroller shopping and lunch with the inlaws. Yawn. Still sleepy. ---

Yay for the homecomings! I don’t wear much makeup, and I’ve never had a makeover. I think it would be fun, though! I made up an awesome dinner last night. I browned a pound of hamburger with 1/2 an onion and 1/2 a red bell pepper, both sliced, and a couple of cloves of garlic. Then added some sliced mushrooms, and 1/2 head of shredded cabbage. Made a sauce with some chicken broth (since I was out of beef broth) and thickened with corn starch. Salt, pepper, and soy sauce for seasoning. Serrved over white rice. Mmm. Have a great day! ---

Morning, all. Caffeination is in progress, and I’m trying to get the ol’ brain working. Wish me luck. I think I may need it, based on how sluggish I feel today. Yay for homecomings! Does VWife have someone coming to help her with her PT at home, **Bobbio**? That’s what my mom did; after her new knee, she went to rehab for a couple weeks, and then came home and had a therapist coming to the house for several weeks more. And I’m glad MIL is settling in comfortably at home, **Taters**. I’m sure she’s glad to have some peace and quiet. That’s what I hate most about hospitals, they never leave you _alone_, and sometimes common sense seems to be lacking. I swear, one time many years ago when I was in the hospital, they came in and woke me up out of a sound sleep to give me a sleeping pill! :rolleyes: It’s a lovely crisp 42° this morning, and the Idiots are _loving_ this weather. They were up quite early, so I got up and just let them out in the back yard and then went back to bed for an hour. I could hear them out there wrestling like a pair of puppies. Silly doggies! I’ve got lots more work to do today, so I should probably shut up and get to it. ---

Bread dough is all made. I think seven or eight batches (14 or 16 loaves). Now the kitchen is a complete disaster. If I leave it, I wonder if the cats will clean it up? Ten minute break, and then (if the felines haven’t started cleaning) time to wash all the dishes. This is actually one of the things I was talking about with Melinda (midwife #1) yesterday. She said that they try to do as much early labour at home as possible, and get you back home as soon as possible after the birth, because it’s often not possible to rest, with all the staff running around, and the unfamiliar noises, and the idiots waking you up to give you sleeping pills. Far better off at home. ---

Hurrah! Don Twanna has just decided to start her maternity leave in January so that means she won’t be coming back after the Hexmas break. Since she’s only part-time anyway, that means I will only see her for another 12 days. Or maybe 11 'cos I plan to have a day off in December to visit my doting parent. I would be doing a happy dance, but I’ll spill my tea. ---

You want to have fun? Try hitting the last page of the MMP without reading any of the rest of it all week. Then read the last 5 or 6 posts and try to make sense of wha has been going on all week. It can’t be done. 🙂 In answer of the Poll (the one thing I could easily pick up on) -Favorite Disney cartoon movie - \*The Little Mermaid \*. It was a first date with a girl long ago. I wanted to take her to something non offensive. I have great memories of the movie and the relationship that followed. I can’t see it now without smiling. -Favorite Non-Disney cartoon movie - _Heavy Metal_ , although _Rock and Rule_ comes in a close second. Oh, and _Wizards_ is close too.
