I went to electronics school with **Luciano104**. Guy was brilliant, and always so helpful. He was always in the top 5% of the class, had no problems with transmission-line theory or Smith charts, and during that ugly incident involving Laplace transforms, he was a rock of support. He got hired by IBM right out of school, and got in on the ground floor of IBM’s turn toward the good in the nineties. Later he went to work at NASA, and then at one of the private cubesat programs. What happened afterwards – the unauthorized access, the re-entry, the lawsuits and impact toxins – it was such a tragedy. ---

Luciano used to be an umpire in the American League. He was always getting into arguments with Orioles manager Earl Weaver. One time he was hit in the head with a wild pitch. He staggered around for a minute, then collapsed on the ground. The crowd bore witness to the fall of the roamin’ umpire. ---

I was always partial to **Luciano314** He made a generally acceptable pie, even if it wasn’t perfect to to more than a couple decimals ---
