**lskinner** , I asked you this earlier and you overlooked it. I’ll ask it again. Why does this issue matter so much to you? I’ve see you get worked up to a degree where you’re using profanity and repeating accusation after accusation, something which, in my experience, indicates a certain degree of anger. This particular thread has also continued for six days. Why are you spending so much time on this question? I really am curious. ---

The test comes when you are shown evidence that your beliefs are incorrect. In this case, you chose to not examine that evidence. **lskinner** , I think in fact you would be happier if you truly made it “goodbye.” I’m guessing here, but I’d say off hand that **tomndebb** is probably the most widely respected poster on the entire board for his probity, calm good sense, and over-all knowledgeability. If you have decided, on the basis of your brief guesthood here, that he is a lying scumbag, you are not going to be happy here, because he is a standard against which many of us measure ourselves. In other words, we want to be **tomndebb** when we grow up. So, if we’re successful, this will be a board entirely filled with lying scumbags (by your standard). I don’t think this is where you want to be. ---
