I asked for lime flavored water with my lunch today. I got a call saying the deli didn’t have lime, but I could have grape. So I said grape was fine. When it arrived it was blackberry. Is this a great country or what? ---

My guess is that the usual gang of hooligans stole a car (as they’re wont to do), drove it around for a while, parked it across the street and set it on fire. This happens every couple of months or so around here, usually during the school holidays. Someone must have called the fire department during the initial blaze, as they arrived roughly 20 seconds after the gas tank went _WHOOMPH_. Either that, or their response time is amazing. They’ve sprayed it with foam, and the fire’s out now. Two buses blocked the traffic in either direction prior to the explosion (and probably called the FD), so apart from some unpleasant smoke and odor and the total destruction of the car itself, no real damage to anything else that I can tell. I’ll go look in the morning when it’s light out. But hey! I actually hijacked the hijack thread! 😉 ---
