Hickok 45 has been a long time YouTube channel devoted to shooting and gun knowledge. I have been watching his vids for years and appreciated because he stayed on the info and didn’t focus on politics. He did support the NRA longer than any rational person should but I was willing to overlook that. Recently he did a video with Tucker Fucking Carlson! I left a comment in his YT channel and he replied with a glowing tribute to TC before deleting my comment and his reply. Seriously Hickock 45, you will regret tying yourself to that POS. Drunk…ranting… ---

There’s a high statistical probability that anybody who likes guns enough to be that knowledgeable about them is strongly conservative in his politics. It seems to me that the OP should be pitting himself for being a whiny crybaby. ---

Quite the opposite. I am a (nearly) lifelong firearms enthusiast and I am not an NRA supporter or a GQP fan. I shoot a lot. Seriously, I have a range (2 ranges, to be precise) on my property and I shoot as often as I can. I’ve shifted to air guns lately as ammo has become harder to buy, but I have been a shooting enthusiast for a long time. You and I should meet up and see who can really shoot! =) ---

The thing that is associated with being conservative is believing the government is out to get their guns, not merely knowing a lot about them. But, even if he was conservative, he apparently came off as the type who wouldn’t be openly political on his channel. He didn’t come off like the type of raving loon who you would expect to double down on supporting Tucker Carlson like that. Carlson says a lot of crazy stuff that I would not expect anyone intelligent to actually fall for. ---
