College Sophomore, in biomedical engineering (same as **bouv**!) Fall: ENES 220: Mechanics PHYS 260H and 261: Physics II (honors level) and lab BSCI 223: Microbiology (looking forward to this one) CHEM 233: Organic Chemistry (NOT looking forward to this one) It’s technically 15 credits, but it’ll probably be the equivalent of 18. And Fridays I’ll have class from 10 to 3:50 with no breaks, oh joy! Spring (probably): MATH 241: Calc 3 ENME 232: Thermodynamics ENBE 241: Conputer use in B-Res BSCI 230: Cell Biology/Physiology Some core class. ---

I am trying desperately to finish my AA or AS degree by May: ENG 102 – Intermediate Comp MATH 115 – Statistics THA 298C – Special Studies in Theatre (Lighting Design Intro class) And either Master Chorale (if I auditioned successfully) or Intro to Playwriting (third time) on Monday evenings. I feel like such a slacker, especially since I _still_ have no idea what I want to be when I grow up. And I’m turning 40 in October. :smack: ---

College senior, psychology major: Clinical Psychology Clinical Fieldwork (in addition to attending a regular class, we’re required to work 5+ hours a week in an assigned clinical setting) Family Violence Advanced Topics in Cultural Psychology I only have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays this semester. Second-year grad student (biostatistics): Fundamentals of Epidemiologic and Statistical Collaboration Multivariate analysis Advanced regression and ANOVA and some crappy required seminar designed for the lab sciences And I get to TA our Fundamentals of Epidemiology course! I have no life. And I love it! Next semester: stochastic processes. ---

Another second year grad student (actually, fourth semester) - information science User Instruction Knowledge Management (seminar) Information technologies Auditing 2 PE classes - swimming meets three days/week until October 8, then Weight training for women 2 days/week beginning October 9. Also a 10 hour/week assistantship (mainly distance ed support) and a part time library job (about 9 hours/week). ---

3rd year college student (graduating next summer): 2 classes of Portuguese literature, I’m a Portuguese minor 1 animal reproduction class, honors section, Animal Science major 1 swine reproduction lab, see above 1 zoology-special topics class, zoology minor 1 veterinary medicine class… I did research with the professor last semester, he said he wanted me to take the class, so this semester I’m taking it… I’m very very nervous 10-20 hours of research assistanship during the fall, counting for 2 research credits. In total, about 15 credits. The course load is much much lighter than last fall, where I had 18 credits, with organic chemistry and physics II class and lab. I liked Biochemistry, although it was hard… Chemistry applied to biological functions, it finally made sense! And I liked Physics II more than Physics I… probably because some problems were similar to Physics I, so in that aspect it seems I was redoing it again. ---
