# High school yells/cheers that don't name the high school

One of my brother’s friends won the write-a-cheer contest with this one;

We’re not nasty, we’re not mean!  
We’ll give a cheer for the other team!  
(softly) Rah.

You sure that’s not [Tom Lehrer’s infamous “Fight Fiercely, Harvard”?](http://similarlyrics.com/tom-lehrer/songs-more-songs-by-tom-lehr/fight-fiercely-harvard) I have heard it sung with the incidental dialogue _“Harass them! Harass them! Force them to relinquish that oblate spheroid!”_

Also, I went to a Friends high school where the following (probably generic) Friends-specific cheers were used without referencing the particular school’s name:

_Fight, fight, Inner Light!  
Kill, Quakers, Kill!_

_Build an ark!  
Make a flood!  
Come on Quakers,  
WE WANT BLOOD!  
Kill, Quakers, kill!_

There’s also the U-G-L-Y cheer. But that’s mostly copied from media, and performed by cheerleaders for the fun of the reference, not as a legit cheer.
