Highest poker hand ever beaten by a higher one

Is that correct? I’ve only ever played poker in simulation on my computer, but in the games I played a straight or a flush would be a losing hand.

I was oversimplifying it in my first post… in the Lo hand of Hi-Lo games straights and flushes are ignored.. so 1 2 3 4 5 is the strongest hand…

but in Lowball Aces are high and straights and flushes do count and are bad… so the best hand is an unsuited 2 3 4 5 7…
