As of the time of this post, it has 99 posts (98 responses plus the OP) and 558,107 views, a view/post ratio of 5,637. What compares?
[I imagine the deal with this thread is that it got a lot of attention from non-Dopers doing random internet searches on the subject.]

Are we counting stickies? Because [Real Life Meetings of Members](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=457122) has two posts and 34,918 views (17,459 : 1), and [The MMP FAQ](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=627530) has 25,668 views and only 1 post.
Outside of stickies, nothing else in MPSIMS meets the same ratio: I checked by going to the forum page, viewing all threads since the beginning, and sorting by number of views. Since any thread with a higher ratio must necessarily have more than 16134 views, it didn’t take long to search through them manually.
Checking a couple more forums, IMHO doesn’t have anything that competes, sticky or no.
In ATMB, [FAQs - Please Read First - Rules, Guidelines, Etiquette, Technical Issues](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=562482) unsurprisingly gets 50,144 views with only 2 posts, but that still puts it a hair behind the MMP FAQ. [Why we require subscriptions, and how to subscribe](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=253315) has a whopping 145,336 views with only three posts, but that would be a former sticky, as was [Beginner’s Guide to Glossary of Terms on Straight Dope Message Boards](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=320298) (34,838:2). Nothing else in ATMB looks close.
In GQ, we get an unqualified new champion: [Did Edward Mordrake realy exist and if so, did he have two faces?](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=116883), with 185,470 views, and 10 total posts (18,547 : 1). And another champion yet: [Netflix on iPad: remove from “Continue Watching” list?](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=664117), with 121,948 views and 4 posts (30,487 : 1). Even better is [How much would paving 1/4 mile of road cost?](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=501718), at 99,647 : 3 (33,232 :1).
I’m not going to go through all of the fora like this, and I skipped over some that weren’t as high as the current champ, but the 1/4 mile looks like the current champ, unless the former-sticky why we require subscriptions counts.

Addendum: OK, I checked the Pit, too. There are some real monsters in there, but it falls off quickly, and the monsters have a lot of replies, too. No new champ.

Ooh, a new champ! In Comments, there’s [Cholera Belt](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=12), with 41,793 views to its solitary OP. This might not count, though, since it appears to be one of the very first threads on the board (possibly the first non-test thread), and surely owes its notoriety to that fact, and not to any content.
CS has [Does anybody know what happened to actress Frances Conroy’s eye?](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=631293), almost a contender at 330,723:10 (33,072 : 1).
…and, that’s it, I guess I did check all of the forums, after all. Why yes, I do have other things I should be doing, why do you ask?
