If anyone can help me, it’s the big brains at the SDMB.

A long time ago- maybe five years- I was listening to Prairie Home Companion, as is my habit, and I heard a musical group perform a very strange song.

The only line I can remember now is “I want a head like the heads you see on Easter Island.”

And that single line has been playing in my head, over and over, for the last five years.

Who were they? What was the song? How, for pity’s sake, does the rest of it go? Is it available for sale? Will I ever get it out of my head?

Eight minutes to an answer- that must be some kind of record.

Thank you, yabob.
