- I think someone here pointed this out a long time ago, but I will bring it up again for further consideration: on some vB message boards, there’s a feature that puts a dot on the “envelope” icon if any thread one has posted in–so for example, when I log on, any threads I have already posted to have a dot on them, while others do not–and it makes those threads a LOT easier to follow. It would be rather nice if this could be instituted, at least for subscribers.

There have been numerous requests for this in the past, even recently. However, when we did test it, the feature caused the boards to slow down and for this reason we probably won’t be implementing it anytime soon.
I also doubt that the software supports a member only option for this feature.

To echo **xash** , when we tried it, it caused the boards to slow down to an almost complete stop. We had a lot of people not being able to get into the boards at all, and those who could get in noticed that the boards were very unstable. It’s a real pity, I wish we could implement it. As it stands right now, though, we can’t. Sorry.
