Pretty sure getting rid of winter, masterful put down that it was :), doesn’t fix the problem.

Then you get the heat it and then heat it some more cycle which doesn’t do roads a lot of good. When you get it so hot the ashphalt melts with the differential heating to the base you get some of the same issues.

Some of the same issues, but nowhere near as bad I would think. Here in the UK this is the third consecutive severe winter (by our standards anyway - December was the coldest since 1890!) and you can really see the effect on the roads. Round here they’d just finished patching up the potholes left by last winter in mid-November, and two weeks later it was snowing again…
