Don’t frown spider. In my opinion it’s ok. But when the hijack or offtopic is of a compelling enough nature as to distract and even change the thread from its original topic (even if only for a few posts), it’s still irritating to me.

You know, since this is the pit, and this is horribly hijacked as it is, why the fuck do we do this? You know what I mean. When poster A says “I hate when people do whatever here”, posters B-Z feel compelled to do that whatever. I’m guilty of it too. Why is this, though beaten to death already, so friggin’ appealing? Why do we, the _creme de la creme_ of internet message board users, feel so compelled to try to get a laugh with the most predictable jokes we can think of?
