I stayed home today because I woke up with a migraine. I slept until about an hour ago, and I still feel all ooky. I’m trying to take it easy, but I’m feeling guilty because there is so much stuff that needs to be done around here. If I could get away with it I’d lounge all day, but the eldest child needs some foam board and needle point string for a project at school so this means I have to clean up and get presentable to go to the store. Plus, the hubby wants to paint some more when he comes home and I feel like I need to be doing something in regards to the painting. I have some touching up to do on some completed walls. Maybe I could do that. I have laundry to do too. It NEVER ends. My house is in disarray. I hate that. I’m not a super neat freak, but I can’t stand when my house is so disorganized and messy that it stresses me to look at it. The sun is shining and it’s actually looking very nice outside. I don’t know how nice it is because the only time I was outside was at about 7:00 am when I drove the daughter to school. Then I came home and crawled back into bed. In good news, I am off all week next week for a lil vacation. I’ve already told the daughter that she is going to have to walk to school on a couple of days. I have grand plans to get much accomplished, but we’ll see how much I actually get done. We are also attending the U2 concert come this Sunday. We’re sitting to the side of the stage and about 18 or 20 rows up. The hubby is WAY excited. Me, not so much. I’m sure we’ll have a blast; I’m just sick to death of U2. The hubby plays their CDs constantly. Well, I’m gonna clean myself up now and try and get \*something \* done before the hubby and kids arrive home. Besides, the dog is whining at me. He either wants out or needs some food and water again. ---

**beckwall** , sweetie, get better. That’s an order. Don’t make me make **swampy** give you The Look[sup]TM[/sup]! It’s a beautiful day again, and I really should don some grubbies and get out to the yard. Really. My honey-bunny is having an MRI of his shoulder done as I type this, or shortly thereafter. He was not looking forward to the accompanying injection. I feel so sorry for him, but I hope the Dr can fix his shoulder. My house smells of chicken - I put one in the oven before I left for work today and it’s been slow roasting all day. I’m thinking smashed 'taters and carrots will go with it nicely. Yum! ---

Mmmm, that does sound yummy \*\*FCM. \*\* I’m making pork shoulder blade steaks tonight. I don’t know what I’ll make w/them yet. Well, I’ve taken a shower and am washing sheets right now. Speaking of sheets, I really, really miss the smell of sheets that have been hung outside to dry. The smelled so good and so…crisp. I don’t know how to describe it. Alas, I will have to throw my sheets in the dryer. I’m starting to feel slightly more human, but still have residual ookiness going on. I’m thinking I should start the touch up and trim work now. You know, those little spots that should have been painted, but were missed because the tape was just a skidge too high. ---

Okay folks, recommend me a free, good photo hosting site that will allow me to hyperlink the URL to the photos in places such as here. I’d like to share the pictures of our paint job and haven’t found a site. I’ve been scanning the net, but there are a lot of choices out there. Many seem to be “invite” only for viewing the photos where I have to insert peoples’ e-mail addresses. This isn’t what I want. ---

Whoohoo I have got me my very own anacronym (sp???) for my ‘friend’ thanks **Homebrew** even if it does mean something else. I don’t understand what exactly but you know I am simple like that. Owwies may or may not have been kissed at work however technically I am meant to be management and show a good example so no-one else knows that CGITOD may or may not kiss owwies on a semi regular basis. (Yum men in coveralls) As for my name **Bumbazine** it probably should mean that the amount of accidents that I get myself into. So we are onto food I see. This week I have nothing to contribute on that. This weekend is my weekend off so I will cook up a storm so I can freeze it and have instant meals for the next two weeks or have cereal for dinner. Every night. The fun single life I lead. ---

You sweet-talker, you… Daughter’s surgery is set for May 2. I’ll be leaving here the Saturday before to drive down to Orlando and spend a week sleeping on her floor in an apartment with 4 other people and 4 cats. Yeah, there’s a fun time. As for my sweetie’s shoulder, I’ll keep you apprised as soon as I know what’s going on. Today’s the MRI. Friday he meets with the surgeon again. Next week, he goes to a neurologist. Dunno when the actual cutting will be scheduled, but it won’t be till after I return from FL. Oh yeah, this summer is starting out great… and it’s still spring! ---

Thanks for all the condolences and stuff folks. I’m back home after a marathon funeral. I say marathon cause I was at a viewing at 10 AM, a funeral at 11 AM, a lunch at Noon, then an almost two hour drive for a 3 PM Interrment. Interrment? Is that right? Whatever. The thing where they say stuff like the 23rd Psalm and ashes to ashes and all that there. I got home about a quarter of five. It was closer from the gravesite place to my house than it was from Tallahassee to the gravesite place which was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out in the country. Was fun drivin’ the ‘Stang on the highway though. And the church lady cookin’ I had for lunch was outstanding. Chicken 'n dumplin’s! MMMMMMMMMMMM!!! Homemade coconut cream pie with a mile high meringue. MMMMMMMMMMMM!!! And all the other stuff. MMMMMMMMMMMM!!! When I left the graveside, I put the top down and rode in style. Even had some cool shades to put on! 🆒 **beckwall** sorry about the poodle hip. I hope it’s all better soon. I’ve known a couple folks who had hip replacements and they say it’s terrific and they haven’t had any problems with em. Still, I’m hopin’ you get to keep your original model hip and they can make it all better. Yay **Ex** is back! **FCM** I hope everything comes out alright for **FCD** and **ThePerfectChild [sup]TM[/sup]**. Lots of weird stuff happenin’ to MMPers and their kith and kin lately. This has gotta stop. ACBG’s bringing some pizza over in a while. He’s all jealous cause I had church lady cookin’ and all he had for lunch was a burger from Hardee’s. Poor baby. Well, the hubby still isn’t home and it’s 2:40. I’m thinkin’ he isn’t gonna want to paint when he gets home. That’s fine…tomorrow is another day. Wow **Swampy,** it sounds as if you’ve had quite a day. Just readin’ all that tired me out. Was there any Key Lime Pie? I just LURRRVES some really good Key Lime Pie. I’m fixing to head out to the store to get the eldest child’s required items for her project or whatever is and then I need to go to Lowe’s or Home Depot to find a teeny, weeny, tiny roller. I know I’ve seen them and now I need to find one paint the leetle, teeny, weeny tiny spaces of wall next to my stair risers and under the bannister and trim. I know this will be one of my jobs. I always get the fine detail work. I still haven’t figured out what to make with the pork shoulder blade steaks. I’m thinking waffles, but my waffle iron bit the dust many, many moons ago. If I can find a decent one at Lowe’s maybe I’ll pick one up. Well, better head out now. ---

As for Photo hosting - I created some pages at [groups.msn.com](http://groups.msn.com). You can post up to 3M of photos for free - if you’ve got a hotmail account, it’s very easy to sign up - or easy to get a hotmail. Just a thought… ---

I use [www.fotki.com](http://www.fotki.com) - since we can’t embed images here, it works well, but I don’t like the fact that it doesn’t allow hotlinking. Sometimes when I’m making an LJ entry I want to embed an image, but can’t. ---
