I have to admit that I never understood either the original song (Total Eclipse of the _Heart_???) nor its video. I think the Art Director took the line “Turn Around, Bright Eyes” wayyyy too literally. It looks like the Children of the Damned at Hogwarts. (And “Turn Around, Bright Eyes” always made me think of Charlton Heston in Planet of the Apes, anyway.) Incomprehensible song with Pretentious artsy video – a perfect target for this treatment. None of the other “literal” treatments I’ve looked at have been anywhere near as good. ---

I was waiting for someone to post this so I wouldn’t have to. It certainly deserves its own thread. I loved all of the videos posted by this guy, except the Meatloaf one. The others I watched 80 times each. This is sad because I am starting to sing along with the changed lyrics. I must say that [this one](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0TYun-Nq1Q), by the guy who invented the concept, I guess, is my current favorite (probably because of what’s sung during the keyboard player’s first solo shot). ---

Total Eclipse is the best by far, but my favorite is [White Wedding](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmngLUtxwJM), just cause the original song’s so awesome and there’s some cleverness in the new lyrics. ---
