# Hilarious (yet still sweet) Mothers Day piece on CBS

This is absolutely priceless. Most kids, asked who the “world’s greatest mom” is, immediately name the obvious candidate: their own mother. Steve Hartman’s hyper-rational offspring see it differently: with billions of moms in the world, how should \*they \*know which one is the best? “It’s the _world’s_ greatest mom–could be in Africa.” A “needle in a haystack”, as Steve wryly observes. 😛

The “lightbulb moment” from his spitting-image son at the end is also comedy gold.

Hopefully Steve’s wife (or at least the mother of his kids) was not offended. Many moms might well be, but I have faith in her that she’s amused and delighted by how special her kids clearly are.
