Hilary Clinton and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Personal E-mail Account

The next time I assert that Hillary Clinton is the smartest person in the world, which I do constantly, I shall consider myself rebuked.

So that’s your prediction, then, is that someone on Obama’s support staff is going to get fired?

You keep making these posts that are nonresponsive. The tech nerd who noticed things would probably be told that it would NOT affect her boss. And bothering your boss with trivialities is a terrible idea. “President Obama! President Obama! Hillary Clinton was eating chicken with her fingers! President Obama! President Obama! Hillary Clinton can’t speak Spanish very well! President Obama! President Obama! Hillary Clinton is using the same email protocol as her predecessors!”

Not a winning employee strategy.

The same guidance.

Maybe those e-mails will shed some light on those rumors about her participating in the murder of a foreign national. Some guy living in quiet seclusion in Pakistan…

Horseshit. In the real world of I.T., if you mention ‘security’ and ‘legal’ regarding a business practice the bosses pay a shitload of attention. At least competent businesses.

I know, I’ve done it multiple times at multiple businesses. Hell, when I was at AOL I caused a near riot by figuring out a way to install any software I wanted using an AOL update routine. That got fixed in a matter of hours.

So, the only way your argument makes sense is either a) the people involved are incompetent or b).too scared of their bosses to do the right thing.

And now we find out that the method Clinton relied on to back up her email (the whole 'the State Department preserved the records) didn’t actually have that system in place, at last according to the NY Times.

The government’s system for this absolutely sucks. Clinton’s little mail server is an added bit of fuckery on top, no doubt put in place because Clinton is paranoid.

Slee

Vince Foster?

My prediction is that he knows about it and it was communicated verbally so as not to leave a communication trail.

If it poses an inconvenience to his office then under the bus she goes.

more likely shed some light on why someone would pay her daughter $600,000 a year for a part time job in journalism.

Let me make sure that I understand your question. You’re seriously asking if someone was required to sign a form that, by its very definition, is optional?

Ok.

And what guidance was Secretary Clinton given in 2008? The same, also?

That’s not a prediction. That’s speculation. What’s your prediction?

Would I? Yes I would. Partially because I’d think it was unusual and I’d want the boss to know, and partially because when the 5-10 other people in the office had to reply, forward or send an email to the SoS, I’d want them to know that this addy is acceptable, and it isn’t some made up addy going to Iran.

At this point you’re are just going to wave away any and all argument that don’t fit in your narrative or believe system.

I’ve explained how some high level government leadership works. You say that doesn’t apply and ignore the rest. Please answer my questions that I’ve asked that you haven’t addressed:

  • Do you think the President and only the President reads and responds to his emails? If there is action required from others or other offices, does he forward them? Does he rewrite them? Does he print them and black out the sender? Do you really think he and he alone manages all of that? Does he open all of his snail mail himself? Have you ever worked in the front office of a major company or government office yourself?

  • You ignored my comment on the first email they received from Hillary on her server? Do you think ANYONE verified that, or that anyone with a Hillary.Clinton email can converse with the President? Do you think their cyber security is that lax?

I’ll admit that this isn’t the biggest thing in the world to the President. But his huge Oval Office staff, gets paid to know things, and they don’t keep info from the boss that might bite him in the ass. If the President himself didn’t notice, one of his staffers did and I can see no way they won’t mention in the the President.

I’m really not trying to be snarky, but I don’t think you have any idea how the front offices in this areas work.

Substitute “speculation” for “argument,” and end the sentence after that word, and you’re right.

How the fuck should I know? I don’t know the answers to any of these questions except the last one, which is, “no.” What I don’t think is that, just because you’ve worked in a Very Important Office, you know any more about how the president’s office actually works than I do. Your speculation is just that: speculation.

I suspect someone verified it. I don’t know how. Possibly in a conversation in the hallway. Possibly by asking Hillary next time they say her. I recognize that whatever I say is pure speculation and don’t expect anyone to be convinced by it. I don’t know how.

Right. I don’t. I also don’t think you have any idea how things actually went down in this case, despite your implication of your own expertise.

Yes, you understand correctly.

The GSA is the keeper of the forms. They manage numerous types of government forms. The forms could be filed alphabetical, or numerical, or by some bastardization of the Dewey Decimal System. The GSA Forms Library lists several classifications of forms but there is no specific U.S. State Dept Forms category.

AFAIK, the State Dept decides which GSA forms it will use and if the use is mandatory. Maybe the form signing is required by act of Congress?

So my questions remain unanswered by either the State Dept or the WH. Was Hillary required to sign OF-109 when she left the State Dept ,and did Hillary sign form OF-109 when she left the State Dept?

*As Secretary Of State, Clinton Violated State Department Employment Policy She Made All Other Employees Comply With

STATE DEPT. EMPLOYEES WERE REQUIRED TO STATE THEY SURRENDERED ALL UNCLASSIFIED, OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS, SOMETHING THE FORMER SECRETARY OF STATE FAILED TO DO HERSELF

Yesterday, The Associated Press Reported That Under Clinton All Outgoing State Department Employees Had To Sign A “‘Separation Statement’ Declaring They Had ‘Surrendered To Responsible Officials All Unclassified Documents’ Related To Official Business.” “The Republican National Committee used the vacuum Monday to keep the pressure on Clinton, noting a State Department policy requiring all outgoing employees to turn over job-related materials before leaving. The policy required such employees to sign a ‘separation statement’ declaring they had ‘surrendered to responsible officials all unclassified documents’ related to official business during their employment.” (Jill Colvin and Ken Thomas, “Clinton Avoids Email Controversy At Women’s Event,”The Associated Press , 3/9/15)*

But ultimately, there is no question of impropriety. It’s a fishing expedition.

““We haven’t seen any evidence of a crime,” Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), the chair of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, said Sunday about Hillary Clinton’s private email use during her service as Secretary of State.”
…But we’re gonna investigate anyway in the hopes of finding something…

The problem with holding off making a statement to construct a good lie is that the lie needs to be researched to avoid compounding the original lie.

Hilary’s reasoning for using one phone is that she didn’t want to carry around 2 phones.

What she said in an interview a month ago about the phone she carriers she said: “iPhone. OK, in full disclosure, and a BlackBerry,” Clinton said, adding: “I’m like two steps short of a hoarder. So I have an iPad, a mini iPad, an iPhone and a BlackBerry.”

In a town hall meeting she set up in 2011 she said this:

Well, I have a quite large purse, because when you travel as much as I do, you never know what you’re going to need. So in addition to makeup and all that goes with that, usually my Blackberry and papers of all kinds, because I can’t get away with a small purse because I’m in and out of meetings all the time. So it’s kind of a purse/briefcase sort of operation going on here. But when I go overseas, like on this trip, there are many more bags that come with me than just my purse in case something else is needed. And my iPod, just the usual wonderful musical “interluding” diversions that we all need, a wide variety. And on my iPad, I have to confess, mostly news sites, because I do a lot of looking to see what’s going on around the world.

Hilary Clinton is a big fat phoney

She created her on negative TV campaign, in her own words.

Do you think this will stick any longer than Benghazi, Benghazi, BENGHAZI??

This is really ABOUT Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi…they couldn’t find anything before, so now they want to either find something in her emails or declare that they don’t have access so what is she hiding. The desperation of the GOP would be laughable if the idiot electorate hadn’t given them a two-house majority.

I still want to make a road trip slapping Republicans on the back of the head Italian-style for that.

And how many devices did she say that she carried at the time framing this incident? The oldest statement of hers that you quote is 2011. She’d already been SoS for two years by that time. Is it not possible that she had originally only carried one device, and then added the second well after half of her term was over? By that time, the email account would have already been firmly established, and following the precedent already in effect.

Do I think it was a stupid thing to do? Yes, I do. 100%. And I realize that there doesn’t even have to be an impropriety. There just has to be the appearance of one. But I don’t see much of anything here, except that the GOP seems determined to try to torpedo her chances of becoming PotUS, even though she’s never officially declared that she’s running. I think the GOP realizes that they wouldn’t have a chance if she does run, and so they’re trying to sabotage her chances to at least level the playing field. This situation appears to be much ado about nothing, and it will probably backfire on the GOP.

I don’t think it will backfire. It just won’t, I think, frontfire.
