Anyone with the slightest association with video games know that the games are rated for age-appropriateness. There’s no way a doe-eyed eight-year-old is going to buy a copy of GTA all by his lonesome, even if he wanted to. And if a parent is going to buy GTA for his doe-eyed eight-year-old, then the problem is stupid parenting, not evil video game developers. And second, slamming Grand Theft Auto is _so_ 1996. I’d recommend **Doom 3** instead, but I guess “hell-borne space mutants” doesn’t work as well in a sound bite as “prostitutes”. I know, I know, this is all political grandstanding – but hasn’t the Terri Schiavo fiasco show that people don’t _want_ political grandstanding? This is the same kind of transparently stupid pandering fake-o-concern PR trick the Republicans love to do; do you _really_ need to stoop to their level? Hell, keep this up, and you’ll end up in the DINO pile with Joe Lieberman… and look at how successful _he’s_ turned out. ---

And since when is Hillary allowed to get away with using words like “diss?” Just kidding. I’d expect Hillary to recommend funding for some program that pushes responsible parenting before I’d expect her to jump on the morality bandwagon. Then again, there are a lot of votes out there to be won by such a move… Mine won’t be one of them. ---

Question #39: You find that one of your Dems is actually supporting a viewpoint of a Rep. How should you respond? a. All heroes tend to be dirtbags one day or another…don’t put to much faith into any of them, regardless if they are Dem or Rep. Tell them all to fuck off. Play GTA. b. The extreme left and extreme right have distanced themselves so much from the middle, that they are actually merging together via wormhole, a sign of the impending apocolypse. Seek shelter and play some GTA. c. Reassess your position…are you that one galaxy in the universe that is fleeing away from all the other galaxies (the rest of humanity) at the highest possible speed, so that from your vantage point, everybody else is “redshifted” from you because of your political views? Put down the GTA and live in the real world. d. Curl up in a ball. You have been betrayed. Put down the GTA and live GTA instead. Be prepared for the consequences. e. Become disaffected…play GTA. f. Realize that all things are not purely black and white, red or blue, left or right…but instead are millions of shades of gray, purple and somewhere between left and right. Readjust your thinking and your tolerance. Find some other game to play. ---

Out of morbid curiosity, did Hillary Clinton actually cast a vote for the Senate bill to have a federal court review the Schiavo feeding tube removal? Or did she manage to be elsewhere at the time of the (unanimous) vote? ---

Oh this just kills. She’s being a politician, no more no less. Yeah, she’s a douchebag, but she’s a politician first. If her handlers think that pissing about violent video games will garner a few votes, by og, that’s what she’ll do. Not a ONE of these political prick cocsuckers has the where-with-all to stand up to the idiot constituency and tell the truth. This, frankly, is no suprise. Strangely enough, there is this kickass player in Doom 3 online that absolutely kicks ass and takes names, named HRC. I have yet to see Hilary live on C-SPAN while HRC is on line.
