Yeah, but we know enough to realize that a Democratic GOTV campaign for aimed at African Americans is not something to be highlighted as a revelation. ---

Hillary’s lead in Virginia is 8 points. When you add in all four candidates her lead drops to 7 points. This came out a couple days ago, but according to the [TPM Poll Tracker](http://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/the-real-key-in-the-electoral-college), if Clinton only wins the states where she currently leads Trump by at least ten points, she still has enough electoral votes to win the Presidency. Now, any non-zero chance of President Trump is too much for my comfort. I won’t feel better until he’s buried at the crossroads with a stake in his heart. (I mean that _literally_, Katrina!!). But, that aside, these are reasonably good numbers. ---

I’m not sure this warrants it’s own thread (and if so I will make one) but would Hillary be in a stronger place now politically if she had divorced Bill after Monica Lewinsky or after he was out of office? ---

Impossible to say. Interesting poll, the LA Times “Daybreak” poll: [http://cesrusc.org/election/](http://cesrusc.org/election/) Look at the chart “Intention to vote by candidate”. Hillary voters are 4% more likely to vote than Trump supporters, a gap that has been widening since the conventions. ---

As it starts to loom larger from the Trump side, her people are even preparing her to expect it to come up in the debates, she should get out ahead of it. Done right, she could end up looking pretty sympathetic. Plus, she shouldn’t let this become an attack point. ---
