So Trump announced he’d give the results of his physical on TV. Now he’s refusing to do so after seeing the actual results. Will those claiming Hillary’s illness should cost her the election now admit that by their own standards, Trump should also be disqualified and/or that this should cost HIM the election? ---

Not really the same thing. Hillary apparently has a long history of passing out, bloodclotting problems and a fairly recent concussion. Just because Trump doesn’t want to announce he has herpes and inoperable hemorrhoids doesn’t disqualify him. ---

Unlike Clinton or McCain, Trump is himself the incompetent buffoon utterly incapable of doing the job. If Trump’s health is poor, it’s actually a point in his favor. But that’s no reason to choose him over Hillary. ---

So, it says that the examination was done by the same doctor who told us that Trump would be the healthiest President _evah_! Certainly put to rest any suspicions I may have had! But why not Zoidberg? (Did anyone else here see the perfectly charming movie, _The Wrong Box_? Michael Caine _was_ young, this movie proves it! In it, Peter Sellers portrays Dr. Pratt, an utterly corrupt Victorian sawbones whom Peter Cook consults to get a pre-written death certificate. Mr Trump’s doctor does not have an examing room full of cats, but outside of that… Also, its a heck of a good movie, cheerful, sweet, and funny. Sounds like typical alt-right posturing. “Well I was going to vote for (Candidate) until X happened!” Where they were never going to vote for (Candidate), they’re just making comments like this to put doubt in others minds. But you know, they sound more reasonable by suggesting that they were planning to vote for your person before this horrible thing happened to put them off such a sorry candidate… ---

Was it just an image of Pepe divorced of any context? As the Wiki on Pepe says, Pepe belongs to everybody. If the context was Pepe saying alt-right things, then they could have simply been scouring the web for an appropriate alt-right meme and used it without thinking further, just like they did with the other, less savory, hidden memes they had found in the past. If it was just an image of pepe out of context then I have no clue what’s up with that. ---

“Dog-whistle politics is political messaging employing coded language that appears to mean one thing to the general population but has an additional, different or more specific resonance for a targeted subgroup.” From Know Your Meme; Association with the Alt-Right On May 26th, 2016, The Daily Beast[31] published an article titled “How Pepe the Frog Became a Nazi Trump Supporter and Alt-Right Symbol.“ The article included an interview with Twitter user @JaredTSwift,[38] identified as an “anonymous white nationalist,” who claimed there was a “campaign to reclaim Pepe from normies” by creating anti-Semitic illustrations of the frog character. So the character was being identified with the alt-right months before the Clinton campaign mentioned it. Now whether or not this is all true or bullshit, the fact is that the Clinton campaign did not invent this out of whole cloth.
